Getting banned means that you are denied access to your game or board account. The bans can be either temporary, or permanent, depending on which of the Game rules you have broken.

Pillory[]

If you think you have been banned, and you don't know why it is, you can first review the Pillory and you can then cross-reference with the Game rules.

The Pillory is a list of all the specific bans in a server, along with duration and reasons. You can find the link to your own Pillory on the left side bar of the Highscore screen.

If you have been banned on your server, links to the Pillory are available on the Ikariam Boards for each server at   http://board.cc.ikariam.com   address of your choice. It will also be displayed when you log into the server as the only page accessible.

Note:

Support[]

In case you feel you have been mistreated, or wrongly banned, or wish to talk to someone about your ban, send a ticket to a Game Operator or a Board moderator using your community's ticket system, generally found at   http://support.cc.ikariam.com/   Do not try to post your complaint on the boards (forum) of your community, as it is forbidden in all communities.

You may also try to contact the Game Operator or Board moderator on the IRC channel for your community through the "Chat" link on the Boards. Every community has a dedicated public IRC channel for chatting and to contact staff members. Ask for the GO or mod in the public channel, do not post your complaint directly into the public channel. If your community has a support channel, then using that can be a swift way of contacting staff.
