Carpenter

Function:
Lower Demand for Building Material
Requirements:
Carpentry
Expansion and use requirements:
 Wood and  Marble

Only the best lumbers are used at the carpenters' workshop. Therefore our handy craftsmen are able to build a solid framework and our houses don`t have to be repaired all the time. Every level of the carpenters' workshop lowers your demand for building material.

[edit] Expansion Details

All reduction buildings add their deduction percentage to that given by the Pulley, Geometry and Spirit Level. This means the actual discount is and additional 1% per level of the building plus the reduction from the level of research you have completed. For example, a level 1 reduction building with Pulley has a net of 3% reduction, with Geometry there is a net of 7%, and with Spirit Level there is a net of 15%. With the maximum building reduction level (level 32, 32%) and Spirit Level (14%), the maximum reduction for that resource is 46%. This means you pay 54% of the original cost.

This differs from earlier versions where the reduction buildings did not give the full 1% with the science researches, and only provided a max combined of 41.52% reduction in cost.

Note: This building will affect the cost of wood for all other buildings, navy ships, and military units. It will not affect the cost of donating to the mill or luxury resource on the island.

Please Note:

  • There are some researches which reduce the resources required for the construction of buildings.
Pulley reduces the required amount of resources by 2% (2% total)
Geometry reduces the required amount of resources by 4% (6% total)
Spirit Level reduces the required amount of resources by 8% (14% total)

Architect's Office reduces the  Marble requirements by up to 32%
Carpenter reduces the  Wood requirements by up to 32%
Firework Test Area reduces the  Sulphur requirements by up to 32%
Optician reduces the  Crystal Glass requirements by up to 32%
Wine Press reduces the  Wine requirements by up to 32%

Alchemist's Tower increases the production of  Sulphur by 2% for every level built.
Forester's House increases the production of  Wood by 2% for every level built.
Glassblower increases the production of  Crystal Glass by 2% for every level built.
Stonemason increases the production of  Marble by 2% for every level built.
Winery increases the production of  Wine by 2% for every level built.

Notes:
  1. 1.0 1.1 The second column shows the real resources need, due to self-deduction.
  2. A Soft cap is a maximum level that is shown in the in-game Help (Ikipedia) section of Gameforge's games. However, structures can be built to higher levels than what is shown until you reach the Hard cap.
  3. A Hard cap is the highest building level possible to upgrade to. No further upgrades are possible either because the upgrade button is missing, or the next level would exceed the max possible storage of the town's warehouses.
