• Crystal glass is used in the expansion of the Temple, Academy (Level 4 and higher), and both the Governor's residence and Palace (Level 5 and higher) buildings.
• Crystal glass can be swapped for research points at the Academy after Experiments has been researched.
• Crystal glass is required in order to research military upgrades at the Workshop.
• Crystal glass is used in the training of Diving Boats and Doctors at the Barracks and Spies at the Hideout.
• An Optician decreases crystal glass costs for the Academy, Temple, Palace, Governor's residence, Diving Boats, Doctors, Spies, and upgrades in the Workshop by 1% per level in the town it is built. Also, it reduces the costs of Experiments conducted at the Academy.
  • It does't reduce the cost for miracle donations.
• A Glassblower increases the crystal glass production of a Crystal mine by 2% per level.
  • The Ikariam Plus crystal glass production bonus is a separate process and does not affect the bonus from the Glassblower.
• Crystal glass can be used for donations to the Miracle on non crystal glass islands.
