After a day´s work there is nothing more pleasant than a cool jug of wine. That´s why your citizens love to meet at the tavern. And when the last old songs have been sung at the end of the day, they set out merrily and cheerful for home.

Every expansion of your tavern allows you to serve more wine. Building a Tavern helps increase your town's peoples happiness. This will prevent them from leaving your town.

Please Note:

• There are some researches that help to reduce the building materials needed to build this building and they are cumulative: Pulley research reduces them by 2%, Geometry another 4% or 6% total and Spirit Level another 8% or 14% reduction bonus from the normal amount of wood and marble, sulphur, crystal glass, or wine required to build the buildings.
• The research bonuses are not shown directly in the following chart.
  These bonuses are shown by hovering your mouse over the individual resource numbers in the chart ( Pulley = 2% total, Geometry = 6% total and Spirit Level = 14% total).

More Notes:

1. ↑ ^{1.0 1.1} Taverns will increase your happiness in a town just by 1. Building a tavern or by increasing its size and 2. by serving more wine.
2. ↑ ^{2.0 2.1} For every level of your Tavern, that town's Happiness increases by 12 points.
3. ↑ ^{3.0 3.1} For level you serve the MAX amount of wine - that town's Happiness increases by 80 points.
4. ↑ ^{4.0 4.1} A level 1 Tavern running at full consumption gives a total of 92 happiness. 12 for the base and 80 for serving the max amount of wine.
5. ↑ ^{5.0 5.1 5.2 5.3 5.4 5.5 5.6 5.7} Levels 17 through 24 do not show up on the in-game Help pages anymore due to the Soft cap that Gameforge enacted in v.0.2.5!
   As of v.0.2.0 the information in this chart was 100% accurate.
