Function:
Protection and storage of resources
Requirements:
Conservation
Expansion and use requirements:
 Wood  Marble

Contents

[edit] Description

A part of your supplies is protected at the warehouse. It keeps mean pillagers, rain, birds and other pests away. The warehouse keeper is also always well informed about your resource storage. Expanding your warehouse allows you to protect more supplies.

  • Research Required: Conservation (Economy).
  • A Town hall adds an additional 1,500 wood and 1,500 each luxury good (other) storage capacity that is figured separately in this chart. Since version 0.3.1, the town hall bonus for wood is the same as for the other resources (i.e. 1,500).
  • When a stored resource reaches 75% of the maximum allowed, the amount appears red. When the amount reaches 100%, the amount appears bold red. Any amount received beyond maximum is lost. To increase storage capacity, upgrade your Warehouse (or build another one).
  • You can build more than one warehouse, up to a maximum of ten (per town).

[edit] Interaction with the Trading Post

When placing goods for sale in your Trading post, capacity is subtracted from the total available to your city. This will be reflected in the tooltip shown when you hover on your resource totals. Any resources in your trading post will not show up in the warehouse screen and may take you over the "safe" limit, so watch out. The resources "hidden" in the trading post are susceptible of being pillaged.

[edit] Expansion Details

Please Note:

  • There are some researches which reduce the resources required for the construction of buildings.
Pulley reduces the required amount of resources by 2% (2% total)
Geometry reduces the required amount of resources by 4% (6% total)
Spirit Level reduces the required amount of resources by 8% (14% total)

Architect's Office reduces the  Marble requirements by up to 32%
Carpenter reduces the  Wood requirements by up to 32%
Firework Test Area reduces the  Sulphur requirements by up to 32%
Optician reduces the  Crystal Glass requirements by up to 32%
Wine Press reduces the  Wine requirements by up to 32%

Alchemist's Tower increases the production of  Sulphur by 2% for every level built.
Forester's House increases the production of  Wood by 2% for every level built.
Glassblower increases the production of  Crystal Glass by 2% for every level built.
Stonemason increases the production of  Marble by 2% for every level built.
Winery increases the production of  Wine by 2% for every level built.

  • Research bonuses are shown separately in the following chart. These bonuses are also shown in the tool-tips by hovering your mouse over the numbers in the chart.

Additional Notes:

  • A Town hall adds an additional 1,500 wood and 1,500 each luxury good (other) that is figured separately in this chart.
You can mouseover the storage numbers in the chart to get your total capacity, including the Town hall storage..
  • When a stored resource reaches 75% of the maximum allowed, the amount appears red. When the amount reaches 100%, the amount appears bold red. Any amount received beyond maximum is lost. To increase storage capacity, upgrade your Warehouse (or build another one).

This is the only building you are allowd to have more than one of per town. The only limit is the available spots on the town.

No further upgrades are possible, because this is the building's true maximum level. [4]

  1. 1.0 1.1 A Town hall adds an additional 1,500 wood and 1,500 each luxury good (other) that is figured separately in this chart.
You can mouseover the storage numbers in the chart to get your total capacity, including the Town hall storage..
  2. 2.0 2.1 When a stored resource reaches 75% of the maximum allowed, the amount appears red. When the amount reaches 100%, the amount appears bold red. Any amount received beyond maximum is lost. To increase storage capacity, upgrade your Warehouse (or build another one).
  3. A Soft cap is a maximum level that is shown in the in-game Help (Ikipedia) section of Gameforge's games. However, structures can be built to higher levels than what is shown until you reach the Hard cap.
  4. A Hard cap is the highest building level possible to upgrade to. No further upgrades are possible either because the upgrade button is missing, or the next level would exceed the max possible storage of the town's warehouses.
